Jürgen Locadia commits to PSV until 2014

Young PSV striker Jürgen Locadia, who joined PSV in 2010, has signed a new two and half year contract at the Philips Stadion, in the presence of technical director Marcel Brands. The deal ties the 18-year-old to PSV until the summer of 2014. The youngster joined the first-team squad for training on their recent training camp in La Manga.

“First-team regular”

Locadia, 7 November 1993, joined PSV from Willem and makes appearances for Young PSV this season. He made his senior debut in PSV´s 8-0 KNVB Cup win away from home against amateur side VVSB, scoring a goal on his debut. “I’m very pleased to commit my near future to the club”, said Locadia at the Philips Stadion in Friday afternoon. “Now I have to do all I can to become a first-team regular. I have to prove myself every day and I still have a long way to go”, said Locadia, who put pen to paper on his contract in the presence of his relatives and agent.
