PSV fans had turned up on Wednesday morning to watch an open training session at the Philips Stadium. The PSV first-team squad underwent a 90-minute session, ahead of Thursday’s encounter with FC Sibir Novosibirsk.

Many PSV fans had turned up on Wednesday morning to watch an open training session at the Philips Stadium. Fred Rutten and his assistants worked with a near-full strength squad. Francisco ‘Maza’ Rodríguez , who is ruled out of Thursday’s game with suspension, and the injured Stef Nijland were the only absentees. Ibrahim Afellay, Carlos Salcido and Jan Kromkamp, who is a member of the Young PSV squad this season, did join their team mates for training. FC Sibir Novosibirsk will inspect the pitch at the Philips Stadium at a training session tonight at 19.00.
